Your translation
Get to know the NET.
The New English Translation is a modern English Bible first published in 2005 by Biblical Studies Press. It was created by a team of over 25 biblical scholars working directly from the most reliable Hebrew, Aramaic, and Greek manuscripts. The NET is notable for its extensive set of over 60,000 translator’s notes, which explain translation choices, textual variants, and cultural background. It uses a balance of word-for-word and thought-for-thought translation to provide accuracy, clarity, and transparency, making it especially useful for study and teaching.
